Ken Buchanan 

Ken was raised in Minnedosa Manitoba and received his secondary education there. He started to work in Funeral Service at the age of 17 years. Then moving to Portage La Prairie in 1966, where he was employed by McMaster Funeral Home, receiving his Funeral Director and Embalming License in 1968. He moved to Carman in 1970 to work at Doyle's Funeral Home and purchased the business in 1971. Ken served 10 years on the Manitoba Funeral Service Association and held the office of President for a 2 year term. He has been very active in the Community over the last 30 years. His hobbies include, curling, golfing, snowmobiling and downhill skiing.

 

 

Craig Johnston 

Craig was born in Russell Manitoba and moved to Carman as a boy. He was educated in Carman and spent many years enjoying high school athletics. Craig still enjoys many hours on the golf course, hockey arena and has found a new interest in roping. Craig and his wife Coreen were blessed with the birth of their daughter Kiera Dawn in October of 2005, and thier son Jaron Wayne in September of 2007. Craig came to work for Doyle's in 1998 and was licensed as a funeral director and embalmer in 2000.

 

 

 

 

 

 Don Doyle 

Don is the grandson of the founder of Doyle's Funeral Chapel - Albert Doyle. 

Don attended McCallister School of Embalming in New York City in 1942-43. He worked with his Father & Grandfather. His father passed away in 1952. Don operated Doyle's until he sold to Ken Buchanan in 1971. Don is an avid hunter and fisherman. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Luana Buchanan 

Luana was born in Winnipeg Manitoba. She graduated from the University of Manitoba obtaining Associateship in Education in 1970. She holds the office of Secretary and has taken an active part in the operating of the family business over the past 23 years. 

Her hobbies include golfing, interior design and bridge. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Trevor Groening 

Trevor was born and raised in Morden, Manitoba. He began his funeral service career working part time for Doyle’s in 2004. He completed his education and began working full time in May of 2005. Prior to joining the staff at Doyle’s Funeral Home, Trevor worked as a paramedic for the Boundary Trails Ambulance Service.
