Doreen Rosner aged 70 years, beloved wife of the late Emil Rosner, passed away at the Salem Home in Winkler, Manitoba on July 15, 2006. Doreen is survived by one son Dale (Debbie) Rosner, one daughter Gale (John) DeWitt, five grandchildren; Connie, Johnny, Crystal, Jennifer, and Nicole, and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother Gerry (Mary) Edinger, and brothers and sisters in law. Doreen was predeceased by her husband Emil on December 27, 2004, one brother Allan also in December of 2004, one sister Thelma, and her parents Philip and Elizabeth Edinger. Mom and dad farmed on the family farm near Overstoneville, Manitoba from 1952 to 1996 at which time they retired to Morden. Funeral service will be held from Doyle’s Funeral Chapel in Morden on Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. with David Friesen officiating. Interment will follow at the Hillside Cemetery in Morden. Viewing will take place at the chapel prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba, 205 Edmonton Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 1R4.
